“One can choose to go back to safety or forward toward growth. Growth must be chosen again and again. Fear must be overcome again and again”
Abraham Maslow

In my YouTube Video, I talk about my perspective of growth based on the quote.

Key Takeaways from the video
1. Growth can be a goal but it is very much a process too.
Do not refuse to recognize and celebrate the little steps you are making towards growth because you haven’t reached the goal yet. Celebrate the process towards the goal. Recognize growth at every step and celebrate it.
2. Growth is not likely to thrive where safety/comfort resides.
Growth is uncomfortable and inconveniencing; it is in the sleepless nights, the sacrifices we struggle to make, the money we struggle to save, etc. To grow, step out of your comfort zone.
3. Growth is a continuous intentional decision.
You must choose over and over at every step to grow. Growth is a tiring and inconveniencing process to the point that if you do not make the Intentional choice to grow when obstacles come, you will give up.
4. Fear is the number one obstacle towards growth.
The kind of life we want, the exploits we want to do, the things we want to achieve, most times the distance between us and that is fear and our ability to face our fears. Face your fears! There is growth in that.
